There is a large spectrum of activities focusing on different types of ICT solutions for rural regions. Cooperation between the European Commission and the Commission of African Union has already produced a large number of projects. Also ITU-D and UNICEF have been supporting various ICT activities since a long time. In this map, you can find some information on those activities.
