Education

The availability of ICT is essential for providing a solid education. Teachers, students or anybody else who wants further education can reach information through ICT, in particular by browsing the World Wide Web.

For many teachers in rural areas it is complex and time-consuming to stay up to date about many topics relevant for teaching. Following the information gained during university study,  teachers usually have quite old books for preparing their lessons. Additional sources of information are barely accessible. ICT provides the possibilities to stay up to date and to refer to additional knowledge base. Furthermore, getting education in ICT and using it in daily lives help students getting prepared for the future.

Also for non academic target groups, ICT can improve their quality of life. Information about agriculture, crafts or other professional topics support the habitants of rural areas provides with better ways of earning their lives.
